But our commitment goes beyond product selection. NUOVO is a certified Green Circle Salon, meaning we divert up to 95% of our salon waste from landfills through responsible recycling and repurposing programs. From hair clippings and foils to color tubes and paper products, we ensure these materials get a second life.
We’re also proud to be the first business in Sarasota to become an EPA Green Power Partner in 2015. All NUOVO locations are powered by 100% clean energy – that means our stylists are creating beautiful looks while minimizing our impact on the environment.
Giving Back: Walk For Water
Earth Month is a time to amplify our efforts, and NUOVO is dedicated to supporting organizations that align with our values. This year, we’re once again participating in Aveda’s Walk for Water, raising awareness for the global water crisis by supporting charity: water. Join us on April 21st, 10am at Bayfront Park to raise awareness and funds for clean water! Every dollar counts, and by walking alongside Aveda, we’re helping to make a difference.
