We Can’t Say “Thank You, Sarasota” Enough!
From our Aveda salon family: thank you Sarasota, Bradenton, our guests and the Suncoast community for 31 years of doing what we love & loving what we do
Ahhhhh, the holidays! When we’re not in the salons from morning til night rocking out gorgeous party hairstyles, color changes, fresh cuts, and fun manicures, we’re doing what you’re probably doing: hunting down perfect gifts. . . . decorating anything and everything . . . . attending our umpteenth ugly sweater soirée . . . . coaxing our pets into Santa costumes for the time it takes to get one good photo. (If you figure that one out, let us know!)
But as busy as we all are, it’s important for us to be mindful of those who provided the foundation of our success for 31 years. That is YOU . . . . our guests, neighbors and community. We want to thank you for letting us make your day, every day.
YOUR BIG DAYS ARE OUR BIG DAYS
We’ve been with you during some of the most important times of your life. We’ve created your makeup and hairstyles for your weddings, proms, graduations, galas, performances, photo shoots, and other once-in-a-lifetime events. We love sharing the excitement and anticipation with you during these special occasions . . . . and we’re proud to be able to play a part in your big day by making you look and feel beautiful.
We’re there with you during the everyday times too . . . . being in YOUR life gives US life! Hearing about your families, jobs, love interests and besties is part of what makes our time together more than just a haircut or a color session. It brings a smile to our faces to learn about you and to forge a bond. So thank you for letting us be part of your day-to-day lives!
AT HOME ON THE SUNCOAST
We wouldn’t live anywhere else but here: Sarasota, Bradenton, or the nearby beach communities we know and love. Every day we fulfill our dream of helping people find their inner confidence and outer beauty . . . . and for 31 years, we’ve gotten to do this all while living mere minutes from some of the best beaches on the planet. We often wonder, how do people get through the day without that mood-boosting Sarasota sunshine?!
We love our vibrant cultural scene . . . . from art and music to comedians and galleries, with a celebrity sighting thrown in here and there for good measure. Our parks and wildlife lure us outdoors to explore nature with truly Instagram-worthy activities, like hiking, biking, horseback riding and paddling. And from comfort food to fine dining, Sarasota-area restaurants hold their own among the best in the world.
Basically, we’re #blessed in a big way, and very much looking forward to the next 31 years . . . . right here!
FLORIDA’S GREENEST SALONS
We’re thankful to be a part of something bigger. Aveda has a proud history of environmentally friendly business practices and cruelty-free products, meaning they don’t test products on animals . . . . ever. Aveda products are naturally derived from plants and non-petroleum minerals or water (which is not only better for the environment. . . . . it’s better for you.) Their packaging is made using recycled materials and manufactured with 100 percent wind energy.
Aveda supports people all over the world, particularly women and families. During this time of the year, Aveda purchases beautiful, handcrafted Nepalese paper for the wrapping on its holiday gift sets. This fair-trade agreement provides nearly 5,000 sustainable, safe, culturally relevant jobs while protecting 34,000 acres of forests and 21 endangered species in Nepal.
Aveda strives to be the example for environmental leadership and responsibility, and we happily follow suit in our business practices. Nuovo is proud to be a Sarasota County Green Business Partner! Not only do we use clean energy (solar and wind) but as a Green Circle Salon, we recycle and repurpose all salon chemicals and other waste for safe disposal, so it doesn’t end up in our beautiful waterways. All the water that touches our guests is filtered by reverse osmosis.
FOR A CARING COMMUNITY
Through thick and thin, we’re all part of a family. Thinking back to how we all pulled together before, during, and after Hurricane Irma is proof of the sense of community and camaraderie we share through good times and bad.
So we’re raising a glass to all of you. Cheers . . . . and thank you.
